So I play this game Fallout 76...
It's a new take on the Fallout video game franchise in that it's online only. Leading up to its release I read about it from time to time and was on the fence about it. The more I read between the lines the more interested I was. Because to me, it sounded like even the developers weren't entirely sure about what it was going to be. It was more on the user. It reminded me of "the old internet" as I refer to it. The early days, pre-facebook, pre-MySpace, pre-pretty much anything. It was the wild west and it was whatever WE made of it. There was a certain mystique about the internet back then. If you were to ask someone if they're on the internet in the mid 90's, most of the time you would get a 'fear of the unknown' look on their face followed by an immediate: "oh, no, I'm not on that"! It was a scary new exciting world! This is the same type of world I was expecting with Fallout 76 based on what I read and I was right.
The game has a clunky built in camera mode that does not really work for me. I changed my keyboard binds and arrows around and I have no way to swing the camera around because of it. But then a few months ago they dropped a few actual cameras into the game that you could find and use. This is where I started just naturally taking photos from time to time when not being attacked by Scorchbeasts or the mythical mothman. I was going through and deleting some of the photos as there's a lot of unnecessary challenges to take snapshots of nonsense and noticed I had a few really good, funny or interesting photos.
In the game you can build a "camp" which can consist of pretty much nothing to all out mansions. I currently have a little house with a secret bunker underneath. But upstairs in the more public view I have always had an advertisement for my website in neon letters. People drop me a line via my website from time and have even gotten a photo submission in front of my sign which really made my night.
So after a few months of my sign and camp being visited much more frequently I decided against my better judgement to throw a section on here for people in game to find. For now, I'm just going to throw some of my favorite photos and some of YOU on here for anyone to enjoy. Unfortunately I will never be able to include your username as I'll never remember it by the time I upload it and from what I can tell, there's no info pertaining to that recorded in the exif.
tl;dr: I play Fallout, here's some pics from it. Enjoy!
Oh and my username is ItsTheBungle and i'm on the PC version. Come say hi and take some pics!
